Welcome to Mari Bakes! Nice to meet you, I am Mari. As long as I can remember, I have been curious about how things work and how many sweets can I eat before I feel ill. This naturally lead me to horrible, yet tasty food experiments as a child (“What will happen when I whip egg whites with cocoa powder?”… don’t try it).
Nowadays, next to my full-time job in the scientific field, I combine my love for experiments and sweets in baking. I have dropped the consumption of raw eggs and developed it into playing around with recipes dear to my heart and from unexplored territories.
